Subjects and themes range from triumph over almost insurmountable adversity, forgiveness of grave offenses and acceptance of differences, childhood trauma to young love, bittersweet regrets and heady victories, gender issues and violence against women and children, to revelations of long-hidden secrets. Even movie stars have shared their memories of past pain and hardship. There is always a lesson to be learned and inspiration to be gained at the end of each episode.It is the heavy drama, however, which has made MMK an institution among actors.
